A payment made by the fund to investors, either in cash or in kind. In tokenized funds, distributions may be made in fiat currency (typically via wire or ACH to verified bank accounts) or, increasingly, in stablecoins sent directly to investor wallets. Smart contracts can automate the calculation and execution of distributions based on each investor’s token balance, significantly reducing administrative effort and processing time.
