A formal request from the GP or Manager to investors to contribute a specified portion of their committed capital. In a tokenized closed-end fund, capital calls may be administered through the token issuance platform, with smart contracts automatically updating investor token balances or capital account records upon receipt of funds. Investors may fund capital calls via wire transfer or, on some platforms, via stablecoin or other digital currency.
