An equity interest in a partnership or LLC entitling the holder to a share of future profits. In a tokenized fund, the GP’s profits interest (carried interest) may be represented as a distinct class of tokens with different economic rights than the LP tokens, or it may be implemented purely through smart contract distribution logic without separate token issuance.
